Hindola Darshan

This start from Shravan Shukla Tritiya and continues till the full moon day. The background of this festival is that, on Rathayatra day Lord JAGANNATH had taken his sister Goddess SUBHADRA with him, which had annoyed his consort Goddess RUKHAMANI (Lakshmiji). Thus is Lakshmi pacified.
