Diwali

Diwali is observed on the last day of ASHWIN KRISHNA AMAVASYA. On that day the temple is decorated with flowers,candles & lights, followed by the VIKRAMSAMVAT , NEW YEAR day on the KARTIK SHUKLA EKAVASYA, when thousands of devotees come for darshan of Lord Jagannath with Prasad of Sweets. On this day Lord Jagannath is offered 56 BHOG in the form of ANNA KUTA.
